The Polliwog Story…

It has been an absolute JOY to start Polliwog Playschool. I get to spend my days watching toddlers blossom and grow together.

Our micro pod of 4 students thrive in the splendor of play and learning adventures with plenty of one-on-one attention when needed.

Now, starting with the 2024/25 school year I’m offering after school care for elementary school students as well!

As a former public school teacher, I hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education, a Master’s degree in Education, and a Reading Specialist Endorsement. It is this experience, along with being a mom to 3 children (ages 8, 6, and 3) that informs the units and lessons in my little playschool. I also have been inspired by the principles and ideas in books like Positive Parenting (Eanes), No Drama Discipline (Siegel & Bryson), and the Montessori Toddler (Davies).
